when will production of low end athlon XP cpu's (ie. 1700+) stop??

or has it already stopped?? i've read they'll be fazing it out soon, but forgot exactly when. yes, buy now, which i plan on buying a couple once i get some more dough. or should i just buy the cpus now, and save up the rest of system. but then who knows if anything else will drop in price.

I think the 1700+ has already been discontinued a while go..those on the market are the remainders..grab 'em fast!
