when will newegg have an eVGA 7900GT?

newegg said "ETA 4/10/2006 9:50 A.M." the whole weekend, but nothing showed up today, and they took the ETA down... i really like newegg, and i'd hate to buy from another place, but if they don't have a restock in a few days... 🙁

I got one from last week. It showed as "Auto-Notify," but could actually be added to the shopping cart and ordered.

It's coming today.

They are almost impossible to find even at the distributors right now. I snagged a couple XFX cards a week ago, and I've got 3 gigabyte versions on the way, but that's about it. I've got a ton of 7900GTX cards on backorder too... just waiting for them to show.

those xfx cards are the sh1t you lucky dog. i got 2 bfg 7900gtx a couple weeks ago from newegg, it was all they had in stock. they overclock like a mofo tho, like 550/1.6 when i click the optimal frequency button. have not ran them for long at that setting though.

Too bad I didn't get to play with them at all 😉

I had them resold within 10 hours, and I didn't even advertise them at all. I can't keep any of these 7900's in stock!

I got an email this morning from ZZF about the eVGA 7900GTX being in stock. I checked it after my shower and it was all sold out.

:frown:

7900GTs seem to be relatively hard to get right now just about everywhere.

If you want something comparable from Newegg and don't want to wait, there are some cheap X1800XTs available ($279 after MIR for the 256MB, ~$320 for the 512MB). Should outperform a stock 7900GT, and people are reporting decent overclocking on them if you're into that.

directron has XFX ones in stock.. not the XXX like I bought from them earlier this month but still a good card..

love the XXX version.

argghhhh newegg updated their site to say "ETA 4/17/2006"... the rest of my parts for my new gaming rig will arrive by Friday, and the only thing left is a video card. it's painful to wait :-(

yeah, last i checked all 79gt's were gone from newg. XFX's XXX editions are amazing (especially the ones that come bundled with stuff). I would actually wait a bit more for a card that just got released a few weeks ago, but for jt, I feel your pain.
