I've taken hour or two naps, but never for a length of time. That must suck, I heard that the contacts can actually rool to the back of your eyeball doing somethin like that. Ouch.

They get bad after a while just when you're awake. Sleeping w/them in must be horrible...

Oh, I've done that so many times, ouch. I was wearing the gas perms, but once the pain was so bad I had to go to an ophthalmologist, where I had my eyes bandaged and was given a prescription for Percocet. That pretty much cured going to sleep with contact in

when i come home from a drinking spree, that's the only time i will sleep with them in. i am more scared that i will scratch my eyeballs taking them out when i am drunk.

one time, they were stuck to my eyeballs, and did not want to come out. i was sh!tting bricks at first, then i decided to get the rewetting drops and they came out with a little tugging! :Q

Contact lens technology hasn't gone to the point where it can provide constant oxygen to your cornea.

they're just bloodshot......no pinkeye here
i've been told that sometimes i don't close my eyes all the way when i sleep

I had some custom scleral lenses that I had picked up at Studio Optiks in NYC, fell asleep on a flight one time and wished for weeks afterwards that I had not. Not only did I trash my eyes, but also ruined the lenses

If I wear my contacts for more than 8 hours straight, my eyes start to burn pretty badly. It really sucks cuz I have to keep taking them out and re-wetting them. I cant wait till I can afford Laser Eye Surgery.
