I'm running a 1.7ghz pentium 4 (alas, it's a willy), which is on a FSB of 400mhz. oh, 384mb pc800 rdram.
been thinking about upgrading my video card, which is beginning to show its age (when I say beginning, I mean it started to about 9 months ago), which is an ati radeon 32 mb ddr.
9700 pro seems like total overkill for my system, but I'm wondering if the 9500pro would be about a proper fit? or would I probably be bottlenecked even with a 9500pro?
I tend to play more cpu-limited games (RTS and the sort) than graphics-intensive FPS.
any enlightenment?
