I've managed to evade the fvckers for 10 years now, was last stung at 13.

Last time it happened I was at this lake resort called Outdoor World. Was helping my uncle look for his shades in the lake and as soon as I came up with them one got me on the ear.. OW! That was only the second time ever that I can remember though.

I don't remember how old I was, but in summer camp, we were playing volleyball (or something like that) in the sand and I must have stepped on some kind of wasp. It hurt for about a day.

For some reason I got stung all the time as a little kid. At one point I stepped on something though, and my foot got all swollen and I had to take time off school. That was the last time - I've avoided bees/wasps since then, with the idea that I've apparently developed some sort of allergy.

It's been a long time. My g-dad was taking down one of my forts in the woods and a bunch of yellowjackets came out. I got a couple in the knee.

Quite a while now.

Bees I don't have a problem with. They sting in self-defense, so if one of them sticks you, you did something wrong. It's the wasps/hornet/yellowjackets/whatever else you call them. Sadistic motherf*ckers that sting you for fun.

I found a hornet's nest in the wall of a place I was living in about 8 years ago. I got hit three times, but was victorious in the end.

No alergies, hurts like hell but no lasting side effects.

Same but I was stung on my back. The bee was trapped underneath my t-shirt during recess.

Edit: I'm 31 so it was more like 24 years ago not 8 years ago ;)

About three years ago, a carpenter bee got me in the neck while I was hanging a shutter. He got me again behind the ear before I could climb off the ladder. Then, the SOB chased me over fifty feet to have another go! The site of the stings also had a bite marks. Apparently they had a nest in the soffit near where I was hanging the shutter, but not for long... little fvckers!

You got stung because your brothers work on a bee farm? That's like saying you have an STD because your brother had se...you know what? I'm not even gonna go there.

Last year. Most amazing thing, I just opened the front door and stepped onto the porch to get the newspaper in. I had not been outside for more than 1 or 2 seconds and boom. Little kamikaze bastard got me right on the leg. No nest or hive nearby, didn't try to swat it or even see it and got nailed anyway. That's not supposed to happen, bees very rarely sting unless they're provoked.

How ironic, since as a kid I used to stomp on bees with my bare feet and I've never been stung.

Reminds me of an incident at the shop I used to work at. Outside the door, about 30' away, and 15' up in the branch of a tree, was a BIG hornet's nest. Once we saw it, we took turns throwing shop debris at it. Every time we hit it, a flurry of hornets would cause us to high tail it into the safety of the shop. One time my coworker went out to throw a bolt at the nest, and a hornet did the kamikaze thing to his arm. Quick as hell, I couldn't believe they could do that. We won the war in the end, but they got a piece of one of us before it was over. :)
