I don't think have an anger problem, or maybe I do after what happened today.

I rarely lose temper, never got violent (haven't gotten into a fight since HS 15 yrs ago), and have incredible patience/level head when it comes to dealing with retards/douchebags/idiots.

BUT I cannot stand when STUPID SHIT that pisses me off out of nowhere that DOESN'T need to happen.

I was doing dishes today with the laptop on countertop playing a TV show (so it's nowhere near as boring). In the middle of it, fucking SUDDENLY out of nowhere the flash player started to freeze. This happened numerous times, then I launched Firefox instead of Chrome. That fucking bitch would suddenly lag forever and would close as soon as it opened.

What. the. FUCK. I had a fucking fit of temper and fucking smacked the laptop to the floor.

The dumb bitch fell, and the display is cracked. A perfectly good 2 yo laptop gone just like that. The repair from manufacturer is $350- 80% price of a laptop.

It's amazing how much patience I exhibit with people. But random fuckshit like this by an inanimate object can set me off..........

I'm pretty passive aggressive in that it takes a good deal to anger me, another hurdle to make me do something in response. I can't remember breaking anything in frustration for a long time, I'd never imagine breaking any of my PC stuff or slamming the table etc.

I don't think I ever have.

But if I ever were to rage, it would probably be against some object. I don't think I am capable of behaving like that towards people.

Dude, can't you just buy a new display on eBay? If it's a normal display it'll only cost $80-150. Much better than paying $350 for the manufacturer to rip you off...

I have raged and have broken things, but only if they have a low value (under $20). Otherwise, I just take it easy.

I'll yell at work (work from home) when customers/co-workers I am working with piss me off to a certain point.

Im really good at holding my anger. Ive had friends throw up in my car, people try to pick fights with me at clubs etc etc and I dont do a thing and laugh it off. The only person who can bring the fucking angry hulk out of me is my ex just because she knows exactly which buttons to push after 3 years. Ive punched so many brick walls, trees, etc etc because of her.

You need to learn when to walk away. Walking away and cooling off a bit would have saved you $350.

That kind of anger is not normal.

probably not since one of my numerous fights with my dad and/or sister in high school.

don't get me wrong, I've thrown my fair share of Super Nintendo controllers against the floor, but never hard enough to actually break something and not since I was a teenager.

if something/someone is pissing me off and I can't do anything about it, my response is almost always to either walk away (if I have a choice) or grin and bear it (when I don't)

My friend raged on an iPhone 3G he had purchased used about 1 week earlier.

The screen had just died after he spent days working on stuff.

Replacement screens are < $30, but that's not going to work at this point.

I've only raged for no reason like that once when I was about 12 years old. I threw my remote control against the wall. I don't remember what was happening.

The only other time I've gotten really mad is when a friend of my friend kept touching me in gay ways after I repeatedly told him to stop. I finally lost it and elbowed him in the face. Guy deserved it.
