Couple weeks ago when a Stevie Wonder song made me think of my aunt, the Stevie fan, who passed in '99.

This was not just any aunt. This is the aunt you all wish you had--you know, the one who owned Atari 2600, SNES, and Playstation before you did, and could kick your ass in any game on any given Sunday. *

* Though we beat her to NES and introduced her to "the next big system" after the 2600, she did also own a Commodore 64 uncontested (and strictly for gaming purposes).

hmm... that day didn't strike me as much as it stuck a lot of people...

Where were you when the world stopped turnin'?

As much as I was sadden by the loss of the lives taken on that day, the world does not stop.

I cried when I watched The Notebook. That part when the women forgets her husband when they are dancing.

The Lonely Hearts Club, and Summer & Seth got back together... she and I have been going through AGONY for 13 weeks waiting for those two to realize they're perfect for each other, and yes... we know its cheesy... and pathetic... and sappy... but we get really emotionally caught up in the characters.

man card...now ;)

serious answer: the last 9/11 anniversary. it's the first year since the attacks that I had actually been in the NYC area... previously, I'd been away at school during September.

one of the radio stations played a song that had been written about the figher fighters and policemen who died with news reports / people talking in the background. it was just a total flashback for me. I had to pull off to the side of the highway and have a good cry.

Actually the last time I cried was the other day when I had my first gallstone attack, I had never felt so much pain before, what made it worse was the wardrobe that landed on top of me after I dropped it while helping my father move house. I am still under going tests but the doctor seems to think that i may have to have my gallbladder removed. the last operation i had was 10yrs ago to have my appendix removed, i haven't had any major illnesses in those 10yrs till now.
