When was the last time you checked your blood pressure?

A couple of months ago. Don't remember what it was exactly but it was normal for a 643 lb., 2 packs a day smoking, alcoholic adult.

i have low blood pressure, but it doesn't cause me any problems so it's all good

last reading was 116/60.
no hypertension in my future

I think it was Walmart that used to have machiens you could do it yourself on a long time ago... I used to do it every time I was there because I liked how it squeezed my arm... 🙂

I must have been like 12-13 or so... (21 now)

I do it everytime I see a Blood pressure machine at a drug store or megamart.

It's always below 120/80.

No wonder you're such an airhead.

😛

120/70

I check it everytime I go to SAM's club. The kids love playing with the free bloodpresser checker there 🙂

I had no clue it was that bad. I had it checked about a month ago.

Good Lord Mang!!!11 You need to go see a doctor for some blood pressure medicine. Or just loose some weight.
Overweight?? Exercise any? Hyped up on crack cocaine?

Hey, when you stand up during class and have to hold on to something so you don't pass out, it's not funny.

...

Okay, so it is. 😛 It's a side effect of circulatory problems I've got.

M4H, you are such loser. Why don't you just go away!

Quick, check it now! Is it higher? 😉

Just kidding, you know, right? 😀

Yes, WalMart has them as do some stores like Kroger. Checked mine last week.

Just checked last week.

163/110

Going to see a doctor next week.

When I went to the doctor this summer he said I had hypertension.

I can definitely feel it.

I'm slightly overweight and recovering from back surgery. Heh, no illegal drugs either. I knew something was wrong because every time I move quickly, I see these bright 'spark' things in my vision. Even sitting down on the toilet, I get those spark things too. Bleh, anyway it sucks. I've cut the salt from my diet by roughly 2/3's. I've got another appt. in January, hopefully by then I can have it under control. I'd really hate to be on BP drugs at my age, I'm only 31. Oh well. 😱

I wish I could get fired up that easy. I'd just read a few posts in P&N before I got up from the desk and I'd be good to go. 😀

I used to have BP around 90/60 back when I was an athlete. Now that I am in my mid-30's and starting to get out of shape, it's usually in the 110/120 over 70/80 range
