it was about the tests, if you pass the tests, you were golden. I beat that 8 yr effer by 3 points without trying. It was epic the crushing.
It's kinda the same at work too. This one guy (a gorilla basically) at work spends so much time planning and writing up emails showing how much work he's doing and what not. In meetings, he has nothing to offer. Like his brain doesn't work in real life stuff.

8th grade, when I was put into a Catholic School.

I came from the public system, had longer hair, and the supposed smartest kid in the class lost his test scores by 3 points to me. The SAT I think it was, anyway i got punished for beating their prized pupil, had to kneel every Wednesday during MASS. But I showed them Nuns. JUST BECAUSE I came from a public school, did not mean, their students were smarter.

Oh Sanji beat me in all the homework and classwork stuff, but I always thought it was about the tests, if you pass the tests, you were golden. I beat that 8 yr effer by 3 points without trying. It was epic the crushing.
Maybe I should change my own submission to suggest I was stupid myself for "going along" with Catholic school and my Moms' insistence on it. I think the worst thing about that education was the all-boys Catholic prep school. I was socially and psychologically a disaster when I started college at a UC campus.

I was socially and psychologically a disaster when I started college at a UC campus.
Very true. I went to all boys school too. While until age 12 I had favorable interactions with girls (they would always approach me), something changed at puberty (most likely the acne). With the emotional scarring that brings plus the awkwardness and never having had to initiate a conversation with a girl before and thus being totally clueless about it, I remained mostly confined to trying to find love on the internet.

The important lesson I learned was that girls on internet are not really looking to have a serious relationship in real life. They enjoy the chats, laugh a bit and after some time when the jokes get stale, they ghost you. Sincerity is non-existent. So I guess after about 30+ years of trying, I finally realized the stupidity of my approach and now I don't care anymore.
