When using Windows Update, where does all the files get stored to so it can extract it?

c:\windows\ (somewhere)????

I just installed service pack 1 and did other updates... I"m wondering, where does it get downloaded to? I wanna delete it so it doesn't take up excess space and

I'm trying to make a slipstream cd.....

Updates are located at C:\WUTemp\

Copy folder to another location, before installation of the updates. The WUTemp folder is deleted after installation.

Since you already did the updates, they should already be deleted. So that problem is solved, they are not taking up space. As for slipstreaming, you need to go here and get the network install version of the Service Pack from Microsoft to do the slipstream.
