there is a warning, saying the maker is not repsonsible for any damage to your video card etc..

it fixes that 60 hz inside games stuff..

Using improperly, it could. In most monitors, the resolutions and sync rates are intimately linked to the HV power supply, analogous in manner to the linkage of AGP and PCI bus speed.

Extreme out of range settings can blow-up your HV power supply. Newer monitors having protections for this, though if HV supply not shut down quickly/properly in time upon out of range detections, it can still blow up.
