When upgrading to Vista...

Two things:

1) IF I upgrade, will I loose all my data? OR would it just upgrade and keep all my music?

2) I was going to get the Vista upgrade through my student discount; will I get a new key?

1. No. Your data will be fine. As with all upgrades some programs and drivers may have difficulty. I highly recommend running the upgrade advisor before you start and do NOT blow off any suggestions it makes. Even though you data is preserved you MUST back it up first. Please, please do this.

2. No idea.
