For those of you who did not select "both", how do you capitalize anything on the left side of the keyboard without using the right shift-key, and vice-versa? I'm assuming you use both hands to type.

umm...pinky on the left shift key, whatever other finger to type the letter?

I use the left key exclusively.

I use Left shift.

I have a Dvorak Keyboard, so I can hold down my left shift with the pinkie finger and still reach everything important. I't hardly slows me down.

OMG my left pinky hurts realy bad like after i finish typing up a report or um "typing with emotion" (banging the keys cuz i'm trying to get my point accross on IM)

I used to always use the left shift key, but when the one on my laptop stopped working, I switched over to the right and now always use that one.

Kind of chiming in late, but:

I type fairly properly; I use both shift keys like they're meant to be used. I have one main exception to my typing style on a QWERTY layout, I type "B" using my right index instead of my left. I think this is mainly attributed to my name being Brad, so typing my entire name on my left hand is inconvenient.

The other is an inconsistency in which I type the non-numpad numerals. That seems to depend on the position of my hand on the keyboard at the time.

oops i answered right instead of left. Just checked it. There you see that I did it threee times. Guess, there is goes again, I just never paid enough attention... SEE I TYPE WITH THE LEFT SHIFT KEY! OMG my life is going to end. NOOOOOOOOooooooooo.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was taught to use the opposite hand of the hand that is typing the letter to be capitalized, but have since been reduced to using only the left shift key.
I'm pretty sure I mostly do opposite hand...Let me check

I Pledge Allegiance To The Flag of the United States of America and to THE REPU

Welp, seems like I'm actually about 75% left shift...

Left only.. was taught in school to do the opposite.. but I just find myself ignoring the poor right shift button.
