when transporting a DLP TV Do I need to keep it completly verticle?

topic says it all.

Transporting it and it does not fit in the ford explorer. Can I tip it on its side to make it fit or is that bad for the TV?
 
It will be okay if it is horizontle for a little while.

I sent my in-laws a plasma on its back from NJ to MI in a Ford Escape. Its fine.
 
I think the worse you can do is knock the color wheel out of alignment, but laying on the side should not do this. Would take a good hard jolt to do that.
