I was looking at the 19" LCD. I don't know how many people will be buying a $400+ item. I guess I'll just get some sleep the night before and show up at 6:00 and see how it's going. Anyone know when they open? Next, do you actually have to sit outside? or can you just sit in your car?
Dude, there's a line of people, not a line of cars. Be prepared to stand in the cold while half awake. That is all.

Go about 15 min. before closing...or maybe around dinner time.

ANYTHING to avoid the crowds.

And, heck, go on Tue. evening...much less of a crowd!

Does hiding the stuff and buying it on Friday work?

Sounds like a good idea assuming it's something small.

I'd like to see someone hide a 17" LCD 🙂

If you want the Black Friday early morning deals, then get there at 3 a.m.

EDIT: more details...

I've gone with some friends the last couple of years, there's usually already a few people there before us. As long as you're in the first 50 or so at the door, you're pretty much guaranteed to get what you want.

Of couse the times differ by location (we go to the Madison Heights, MI Best Buy).
