When to clear BIOS

In order for new memory/cpu frequency settings to take, should the BIOS be cleared on every adjustment/change?

Gigabyte GA-8KNXP, P4 2.8 800FSB, 1GB Corsair TWINX1024-3200LL DDR400

if you clear the BIOS, you will reset all settings. If you change your BIOS settings, you only need to save them and exit.

The only time you need to reset a BIOS is if the changes settings are not liked by the motherboard/memory/cpu and your computer won't properly bootup.

Hope that helps.
