When the ice cream truck comes around, what do you get?

I dig those ice cream sandwiches that are two chocolate chip cookies with vanilla ice cream in the middle surrounded by chocolate chips. I think it's called a Chipwich.

Either that or a Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake bar.

Edit: NJ suburb

no ice cream truck here. Last job I would get a large soft serve, twist of course (vanilla and chocolate)

I don't even remember the last time I saw an ice cream truck, they don't have them in my neck of the woods.

People posting in this thread should also post where they are from.

Nothing, we don't have an ice cream truck 🙁
you guys are from Ontario and one is from London, like me.

We have bicycle ice cream vendors called Dickie-Dee's.

While I haven't seen an ice cream truck in a while, I am sure they are still around.

I remember back when I was a little kid and looking forward to the ice cream truck. We had a hot summer back in 1970 and I used to get that thing in a plastic cone with the gumball at the bottom. I think that stuff cost about 10 cents or so back then.
