This thing has been in development since like '97. Its now becoming a joke.

I personally think they'll release it sometime soon. I think they were wanting to wait until Max Payne is out and the hype around it has settled down for one of three reasons:

1. DNF is BETTER than Max Payne. They didn't want to overshadow Max Payne, you know. Wanted to be nice to the guys at Remedy.

2. DNF is equally as good as Max Payne. They didn't want two of the best games of all time out at once. Could destory the rest of the market and all!

3. DNF is WORSE than Max Payne. They didn't want Max Payne to overshadow IT. (This one will probably be the case anyway. )

Or maybe they're just going to say "When its done" forever and keep us all hanging and release a bunch of fake screenshots. I bet those screenshots they had before were just some Unreal mod they whipped together.

I suspect sometime in Nov or Dec though.. definitely doubt it'll be delayed to 2002
