Does he ask how much change you want back or does he just give you back your change and looks at you waiting for his tip?

We just give him the amount of the order plus the tip and tell him or her to just keep the change. If you don't want to tip, go pick it up.

nearly every delivery person in this area, carries the exact change, for the nearest whole bill, plus some extra. so yes, they do carry change.

one time, this one lady just gave me my change back minus tip. I got pissed. I don't like tipping in general but when they automatically assume so and take the money out, for some reason that gets me pissed..
