When should I start job hunting?

I am on my 6th(gasp) year of college, and along with this fairly easy semester and taking one (yes one) class, then next spring I will be graduating. My major is EECE, computer option at the University of Louisana at Lafayette.

Also I am wondering what my expectations could be. GPA unadjusted in 3.0, adjusted is 3.2. I am decent at computer tech/IT type of work (which is related to what I am doing right now), and unfortunantly no experience in engineering yet. Thinking if maybe going into the military after I graduate.

I would say start searching now, you don't wanna wait until you've graduated to start looking cuz then you'll be out of work for months. If people want to hire you, they'll probably do it before you actually have finished your degree, since its only one class. A friend of mine is on his last year in college and is already working at Boeing, and he is working toward the same degree as you.
