when service/repairmen come to your home to do work...

Jose' came to do the cable install...I asked him questions during the whole 50 minutes or so....Annoyed the very HELL outta him!!

I always talk the cable guy's ear off, just so he knows that I am paying close attention. My landlord is one of my best friends, so I usually get him a coffee or a , and we chat while he / we work. The piano tuner is a crazy man, who loves what he does. I just sit in an adjacent room and work on something. It's a constant amusement to here him try to talk my piano into doing what he wants it to do. 🙂

I'll usually kinda hunker down behind whatever furniture's in the room as I touch myself and make pleasant noises. They usually don't spend any more time than necessary in the house.

you'd be surprised how many people leave me alone, often there is money on thier desk. (I figure most are checking to see if it disappears)

it's great that it works both ways (the money on the desk I mean).

If I'm interested in the work they're doing, then I will usually hang around and converse. Most of the time I just let them do their job in peace, but I'll check up on them periodically to make sure everything is going smoothly.
