when selling used products..

How do you usually start pricing? Do you lower it by a certain % for being used if it is still in perfect working order?

Depends on the product and where you are selling it. Look at other people's posts / ads to get an idea, and pay attention to what newer products sell for.

For example, you might have paid $80 for a 120 GB hard drive, but since you can now buy 160 GB drives for $30 after rebate you shouldn't expect to get "50%."

I generally just start it at the minimum I would like to get out of it(which is usually not very much, as I have no need for it, and like to give others a good deal).

if it is a popular product (i.e., you aren't the only one listing it), start the bidding at 99 cents and let the market decide the price.
