When running Prime95...

When you're testing a system for stability when OC'ing, is it a good idea to create a "shutdown" batch file and have Motherboard Monitor 5 run it if the CPU temperature reaches like a 80 degrees celcius threshold or something just to prevent you from possibly causing damage to the chip? Or will it just be "too late"?

There should be an option in your bios for a shutdown temperature.
