When ripping a movie with DVD Shrink, my computer locks and goes into a restart loop

When ever i start to rip a movie, it will start to decode the movie, get to about 13% then windows will lock. And then when it restarts, windows is stuck in a loop of trying to restart. I have to shut down the computer for a while for it to stop, and then it boots fine....I dont believe it is an overheating problem, I have checked the temps with my digidoc. and they are normal.
 
Ripping my own movies for my 10yr old daughter to watch movies on her dvd player, so that she does not scratch the real thing is not illegal. Dont assume everybody pirates movies.

Where did I say you were doing anything illegal? Don't assume.
