Gigabyte z170x gaming 5 I7 6700k seasonic g650 sapphire r9 390 my computer is working good no proplems with it gaming editing everything is ok but sometimes when I restart or even when turn on my computer it shut down completely include LEDs etc for 2 to 3 seconds and then turn on again to desktop without any proplem ---computer does not turn off while gaming never only sometimes when I restart it or sometimes when I turn it on do I have a proplem in the motherboard or my board do that for a reason?

Sounds normal to me.

Really? If he restarts the PC, shouldn't it remain powered on through the entire process? From what I was able to gather from his post it seems like when he restarts, Windows shuts down, and then the computer powers off, and then after 2 seconds it powers on again.

I've never seen this behaviour in any PC.

Some motherboards have odd boot sequences. My Asrock X58 Extreme6 fires up at the first press of the button and reboots without a complete power down but only if it's not overclocked. Once I up the BCLK above 133 the system pauses for a second after I press the power button and then boots up. When I restart with the system overclocked it does a complete power off, pause and then powers back up. Another Gigabyte board I have (for a C2Q) powers up for a second, powers down and then powers back up and boots into Windows.

As long as it works, it works.
