When registering a domain name will my home address be visible?

I'm trying to register my first domain but I'm curious if my home address will be out there. I really don't want that information out there for the entire world to see, is there a way to register a domain without that info being available?

Register at GoDaddy and use the privacy thing. It's like $9/year but IMHO it's worth it.

some people aren't "honest" on their registrations. i've never regged for a domain name but i've investigated some as part of a former job and let's just say that there are tons of people who get away with not giving out legit information on their "whois" domain registrations.
