when reading to yourself...

do you read out the words in your head? is it possible to read the words without reading it out inside your head? i don't think i can do that.

Read the words but most of the time they just show up as pictures in my head. It's like I'm not even reading :Q

If I *really* enjoy what I'm reading, I 'say' it in my head. But otherwise I just comprehend it.

It plays like a movie in my head, too, xSkyDrAx

i can read without saying it in my head, but only if i want to read something terribly fast due to the length of the text.

i can do about 410 or 450 wpm last i checked reading it in my head

got 800 or so without, but my comprehension takes a hit if theres are alot of details as i have troubles with details to start with, which is why i dont read like that very often.

Since I have honors English and AP Psychology, what can help me reading skills a bit more, since I need a little more this year than last. Reading is probably the best practice for reading faster, right?

My lips move, but I make no sound. Stupid freaking eye doctors haven't given me adequete glasses yet, so reading always causes me to lose my attention span.

only if I want to emphasize on what I read (which is often). otherwise I skim over the text.

actually it's more like i make the partial sound of some of the words...
