When the President of the United States is on the campaign trail and traveling from city to city in a bus, is it called "Greyhound One?"

Inquiring minds want to know. :p

Do they even let him ride in a bus? Would be wicked to see a Discovery channel special on the armament if that is the case. I suspect he takes the limo. Of course that still leaves the question, "What is the limo called?"

Edit: if the plane is air force one, heli is marine one, his boat would be navy one and his bus/limo would be army one?

I think the "one" thing only applies to aircraft, to seriously attempt at answering your question.

I asked this question because I heard on the radioi a few minutes ago that Bush and Kerry were both campaigning in the same state and their busses were within 50 miles of each other. They are both trying to pick up votes, but that isn't the point.

The news report said they were both traveling in busses, hence my question.

On another note, can you imagine how tricked out the President's bus must be. :Q

You know, I think it would be funny if their busses ran into each other. I wouldn't want anyone to be hurt, but imagine the news coverage :)

Hee, hee, I can't disagree with you about the busses running into each other, but that still isn't the point.

Does anybody have a link to something that would confirm that the President is or is not traveling in Greyhound One?

Yes, this may seem stupid, but you can bet that the Secret Service has a name for any vehicle the President is being transported in.
