when overclockng fsb/ram dividers?

i dont understand hwo you do this, like do you set it in the bios or what, i think the part that confuses me is how do you make the ram faster say your fsb is 200 and tthe ram is 200, and then you up the fsb to 210, will the ram automatically go to 210 or do your set it in the bios or do you just increase voltage or what, or does the divider do it all? 1:1 fsb = ram, 3:2 fsb = 2/3 ram.... etC?

ram dividers work like this:

if set to auto (which is essentially 1:1) your FSB will be the ram clock i.e FSB=RAM
if set to 200 it is essentially 1:1 therefore FSB=RAM
if set to 5:6 then if FSB is 200 then RAM is 166 or to keep it simple FSB x 5 / 6 = RAM speed
if set to 2:3 then if FSB is 200 then RAM is 133 or FSB x 2 / 3 = RAM speed

example: if you set FSB to 250 with a divider of 5:6 then RAM speed = 250x5/6 = 208.3mhz or DDR416
