When ordering from Dell...

Configuring a system on the website only offers you so many options. My question: If one were to speak directly to a sales representative, would one have a greater choice of options to choose from?

For instance, most systems only allow you the option of a Dell-branded monitor. If I were to call them, would I be able to change my choice to a different brand, i.e. BenQ?

Also, if you order over the phone, some people have reported success with haggling and playing hard to get customer to get a better deal than even some coupon codes.
 
Yes, in a way. You can either price the system seperately (with no monitor) and order the monitor from the accessories section of their website or you can call them and do the same thing.
