when OCing...which to bring up first? fsb or multiplier?

which is best to raise first, the fsb setting or the clock multiplier? why?

FSB is always better, multiplier only makes your CPU run faster, FSB makes your entire system run at a faster frequency (RAM, PCI, HD's, ect..)

Fsb as mentioned above.
So, try out your fastest stable bus with CAS2(fastest memtimings) after that you can try out yor fastest stable speed on the processor with stable fsb.
You now only have to do some math to set up a combination that give you a nice OC.

FSB...i don't think you should raise your multiplier past 11. Also...be careful with the FSB too...too much FSB could cause your HD to die. That's what it did too mine...but it's an extremely rare case. Check my post...it's "will OCing cause your HD to die"...or search under my name in the authors column.
