when Ocing CPU is higher multipliers better or worse?

I'm new to OCing AMD proccesors, is it better for stability performance or worse?

multipliers are just settings, a means to an end....basically. Sometimes a lower multiplier lets you hit a desired ram/cpu speed combination...but generally you're going to want to leave the multiplier on its default, highest setting.
