When mods misbehave they should be banned too and probably also get demoted.
Call me idealistic, but IMO the mods are here to keep order and make members behave. As such the mods are here to enforce that everybody is civil to each other and doesn't cross certain lines.
It is therefore a pretty big insult to normal members if mods cross those same lines, even harass certain members, but get away with it unpunished.
These are the people that are supposed to watch out for normal members on this board, so that it doesn't degenerate into anarchy. It's pretty pathetic if a board with mods can't even take the moral high ground over /b - at least the "moderation" there is fair for all. On AT, we have now recently seen multiple instances where mods abused their power to harass people, enforce their opinions in threads and punish members that dared to critique them.

I can only think of one thing to say: WTF?!
Maybe the fact that multiple people, with no skin in the game (eg in the above thread), have pointed out this injustice should give the mods and operators of AT pause.
I have been a member of AT for a long, long time and it has been a fun and pleasurable experience. But BS behavior like this from mods is just unacceptable.
Maybe people that behave like perknose and esquared should not be mods?
Maybe mods should not be allowed to post in threads?
Maybe we are better off without any mods than with mods like this?
So ban away, because I actually dared to say what should be common sense.
