When messages are moved from inbox to local folder.....

In Outlook Express, when messages are moved from my inbox @ hotmail to the "local folder" what is the folder that it's in? I can't seem to find it anywhere on my comp, except in outlook.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but local folder isn't a folder itself, the real folders such as the inbox, outbox, sent items, deleted items etc.. are just underneith local folders, which is a part of Outlook Express.

you set it a while ago if not, its most likely a folder called "mail" somewhere in ur C: drive i think

In the Hotmail section in Outlook, right click on the Hotmail inbox folder and select properties. It will tell you where the data is stored under the general tab.

is there any way i can transfer the messages so i could like, say save them to a disk?
