Sort of. I chose my school because I grew up a fan of their basketball and football teams.

1st priority is how many hot half naked bitches will be running around the dorm @ 1AM in the morning.

Yes, I choose a college that has a bad football team, so the students there are studious and won't cause riot (hint: avoiding people like you).

My choice is based on the reputation of the department I joined in the industry, and how many opportunity (research) I can get.

Well here in Iowa we have Iowa State and Iowa. I always cheered for the Iowa Hawkeyes. And when time for college came around I knew Iowa State had a better engineering program, but I could never live with myself supporting their teams. So, I am at Iowa, but the program here is very good too.

when i chose my school we were good at football..football/tradition crazed school (25K students attend each game, most in big 12) - Texas A&M

I went to every home game except for 1 in which I was sick, and even went to 2 road games and our only bowl game..unfortunately, in my 4 years here, we were pretty bad..

ISU engineering >>>>>>>>>> Iowa engineering

ISU is in the top 20... Iowa usually isn't in any lists.

Football team didn't matter to me at all; the proof is in my choice of school, the University of Arizona.

Sure, ISU might be better is engineering than Iowa, but you better check your sources again about Iowa not being in any lists.

My school's been undefeated in football for over a century :). Too bad we've been winless too :(.

Unless you'll be on the football team, the quality of it shouldn't be part of your reason for going there, IMO.
