When Logging on what "Domain" name should I use

I have two computers, one XP and one 98 networked via a linksys Etherfast BEFSR41 router. When I boot up my 98 machine what should my Domain be entered as (below the User Name and Password boxes).

Thanks!

Unless you have a Domain Server, you should not be logging onto a domain. And a WinXP system does not constitute having a domain.

So simply put logon without putting in a domain, Right click on network neighborhood goto properties. Double click on Client for Microsoft Networks and remove the check mark from Logon to a winNT domain then ok, ok and let it save then reboot.

That is the advanced login (for Windows domains). Isn't their an option that makes a basic login that just asks for your username and password. I have not used XP and I am just grabbing this from my win2k experience.

Mucman - I think my post was misleading - it was the Win98 logon I was referring to. Thanks for the help.

Setral - worked like a charm - thank you very much.
