When it comes down to a relationship, does looks really matter?

What do you guys/girls think? For me, looks isn't everything. It's all about the inside and how we are able to connect. Also trust, honesty, and just commonality are also factors. I guess as one grows older, the look factor disappears and it's not so much infatuation anymore as it is true love. Perhaps... :heart:

Don't get me wrong, connection is key to a successful relationship. As are personallity, communication, common likes and dislikes, etc. The list goes on. But for me, looks are on that list. I have a good looking SO, and I wouldn't change it!

I think you need to be seriously attracted to the person but true love that is returned will cover multitudes of imperfections.

when it comes to something like this, its all relative. what you think is beauty may not be beauty to someone else. my girlfriend is kind, loving, fun to be with. and i think she is the most beautiful woman i have ever seen. but maybe to someone else she isn't.

As long as I find them attractive I am happy :thumbsup:. I don't care what other people think of her. If they think of her as ugly then I really don't care. If I'm attracted to her that is all that matters
