There will be a lot of pissed off people on 2/17/09, that's for sure. I noticed that the digital broadcasts don't seem to handle poor reception nearly as well as an analog broadcast does, and you end up with a pixelated studdering mess of a picture if you don't have at least 50% signal strength.
In my area, I can currently get about 6 analog VHF and UHF stations with an antenna, 4 of them with a picture and sound clear enough to watch. I can also get 5 digital stations to show up on the station list, but none of those are strong enough to hold a steady picture
