when is Turtle Beach going to release new Santa Cruz drivers?

it seems like the good folk at Turtle Beach have fallen asleep... there have been no new driver releases since the end of November...

does anyone know when they are going to post new drivers?

Agreed. If you can indentify a specific problem then they do need some new drivers but if not then stable drivers are a very good thing. If they're stable then they need never release a new version unless another OS comes along which requires that the drivers be changed to work on that.

They are still working on drivers. Dell has version 4081 WDM drivers on their FTP site (with features like MP3 acceleration and Multiple Waveouts completely missing from the Santa Cruz Control Panel). The Dell files are dates 2/21/01, and a bunch of the files that are installed (the installation works on retail cards) are from about 1/15/01. I didn't notice any other difference with the drivers so I went back to Turtle Beach's 4063 WDM.

the thing is I do have problems... I lose sound occasionally.

besides... the drivers are beta drivers... not final drivers.

TB has always been lousy in driver support, which is why I will not buy one of their cards. I had several a long time ago (Tropez) and the driver support was abysmal
