Like I said, Amazon is showing that I can buy it. I don't even find the pre-order on newegg. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough. Still trying to determine if my DFI 790GX mobo has support.

Just called my local Fry's - release is April 27th, so tomorrow - Uh...

Yeah, I don't know. There's one member of these forums who purchased his at Fry's. And Amazon clearly has the 1055T (not the 1090T) showing in stock. Maybe they missed the memo?

EDIT: I know when I pre-order software from Newegg it typically arrives ON release date. Perhaps that's what Amazon is doing.

I'm pretty sure the guy who sold the 1055 missed the release date memo and the forum member simply got lucky on that one (or has a friend on the inside :ninja: )

Cant wait for the reviews!

In my experience Amazon orders a small first batch for preorders then reorders again so if you're further down the preorder queue chances are you will receive yours later.

I thought it was tomorrow too but some people tried to correct me telling me it was today. Well, I guess those people were wrong.

I imagine sometime tonight we may see some reviews pop up. Its Tuesday in some places. I am looking forward to it. If its good, hopefully MC will have a good deal :).

well I have not seen ONE single thing that listed the 27th as the date. the 26th has been mentioned for weeks now by people that should actually know. heck the cpus are even shipping today too for the most part.
