HDCP support for one thing, being the major one. Likely the removal of S-Video, Component and Composite inputs and possibly VGA as well. Newer and faster panel is also probably to be expected.

Probably not, the 30" version only had DVI (dual link) because it needed high bandwidth to drive the high native res. Where as the 24 inch will just probably have a faster panel, and HDCP support (this is with regards to the 07 model). I have heard that this will be coming out in march some time, if so that is a bit of wait

That stinks. I really want that 24" display! If it wasn't for the damn HDCP I'd just buy the current model.
