When is the iPhone 6s or 7 coming out?

Hi I know no one knows, but any iPhone nerds here know the release pattern? When does a new iPhone usually announce and release? Just wondering. I really appreciate teh help 😀

according to their release schedule, they are likely to release a new phone (rumored iPhone 6S or iPhone 7) this September. Anyway, this is just a guess. Just wait 😛

Are people really expecting an iPhone 7 this year? We usually get a spec bump model (like an iPhone 3GS, 4S, or 5S/5C) instead of a new phone design from Apple on odd numbered years.

I forgot to ask. Does anyone know how much roughly the Pay As You Go version be? and Contract too? I probs be getting the 16GB. Again thank you for your help 😀

Retail price, most likely. If you're not getting a contract, you'll likely pay at or near the full price (currently $650 for an iPhone 6) for a newer model iPhone.

I've seen carriers selling the iPhone 6 on contract for no money down, but trust me... you're just paying more for it that way in installments plus a ton of interest.

I hope they release a 6C. I don't like huge phones, I like mine to be 4 to 4.5" in size. Plus the 5C is outdated with an insulting storage capacity.

I know cappuccino is in Europe, do carriers there charge interest on the finance plans? No US carriers do that. It's a 2 year, zero interest payment plan across all carriers that offer separate financing.

It'll very likely be announced and released in September. And there's a good chance that Apple will make the iPhone 5s the new entry level, so that'll be your choice if you want a 4-inch screen.

If they do make the 5s entry level, hopefully they leave the storage alone. No one wants an 8gb 5s.

All I really want is that extra scratch resistance. I have only dropped my phone twice (once iPhone 6+ in the road from about four feet, and another time from about six feet onto carpet) an I have had no problems with screens ever breaking.

looking at the rumors of the new iphone 6s
-12 Megapixel camera
-Rose gold color
-Force Touch
-IOS9

There's nothing really that exciting for me. What are you guys excited about?

I'm excited about Force Touch, 4K video recording, and a faster chip. Looking forward to all the new apps that use the pressure sensitive feedback.

I don't really understand the excitement behind force touch. I've tried it on the Apple Watch and Macbooks, and it's really just a fancy long press. Why is this so exciting?

Hearing that 16GB base is sticking around for the 6S iPhone. That's pathetic.

Haptic feedback is what I find more interesting.

Right, presumably ForceTouch is coupled with the Taptic engine, so there's haptic feedback that's better than the little *buzz* of a vibrate motor.

That said, I'd be interested in seeing what they'll have it do.

An iVibrator attachment?
