When is the BMW 1 Series Coming?

what is this 1 series you speak of? will it come with a 3.5 v6(at least a 3.0l v6?)? will it be lighter than a 3 seires? Will it come in coupe and gloss balck?

edit: nevermind saw it. it's disgusting, just a small wagon. WTF is wrong wit european car makers? If I want sporty, I want a coupe/convertible not some pos that distributes more weight up top for higher center of gravity, and with all the style of a Dodge Aires.

They really couldve capitalized with a small 2 or 4 seat compact/subcompact coupe with a small/medium v6 and light weight but with the great bmw handling for around 30k. I'd buy that, a 4 cylinder wagon? no way.

No, but it will be the most expensive compact hatchback you've ever seen, and AC doesn't even come standard!

Despite that, it's such an incredibly cool car...

It's a pointless car, and it sucks.
Better to buy a second hand proper BMW than one of these (says my Dad, who drive one as a temp car when his second hand BMW was in for repairs).
They suck, and they're overpriced, and look like ass, etc etc etc.
