When is the ASUS A7V coming out?

You know that mobo for the duron? I really wanna get that mobo. But I have no idea when it's going to debut.

I think MyInfinity.com is expecting theirs this Friday. For sure, they should be available within the next 2 weeks.

Viking computer expects to receive the A7V by the 17th of July. I think you'll start to see them all over about middle of next week.

It looks like some small mom-and-pop computer stores have been able to get small quantities, which sell out the same day they get them (which is why no one is listing any on their web sites).

So, basically you need to e-mail or call around a lot of small stores. Look for places that sell overclocking stuff, like Celerons pre-tested to OC, or Golden Orbs, etc.

I am doing so, and hope to get one soon. As stated above, the larger quantities should be starting next week.

Has anyone seen any status change on their order??? My still says will ship in 4-6 weeks, my order was through Computer Expo, anyone else used them before???

Iam waiting patiently for it too.

Next week would be sweet. Anyone have any recommendations for what heatsink I should throw on my 700 duron, or mabye 800 Thunderbird?

Thanks.

Price is 220 can, ouch. 🙂 Really nice looking board though. WTF is with 7 usb? Kinda funny.

Some stores outside US have already received
A7V. I know 1 store in UK sold out of
A7V in July 12th, and 1 in Canada also
sold out.

Btw, for those in Canada and looking
for Asus CUSL2 (815e, the board that Anand
reviewed), they are IN STOCK.
