When is someone going to come up with an AMD 990FX chipset driver?

I am new to Linux and just made my first two installs.
I am using Debian and it looks bad. I mean it looks like old DOS graphics.
Also my AMD RAID0 array is not showing up at all, works fine on Win7 though.
 
Debian installs a completely free kernel by default now. Maybe try looking for the non-free binaries in the contrib, and non-free repositories.
