How can you say that on a product that's not even out yet? It's cheaper but "better?" The ipod's biggest selling point is it's size- the nomad zen NX is still bigger than the pod.. Trust me, I'd like for apple to have some real competition - that would force them to make it cheaper.. But the Zen NX doesn't seem to be it (though it is a good product based on my opinion of the original zen)

Because there is something called a spec sheet. It's smaller than the original zen, but a tad bigger than the ipod. It has ALL the same features, and is about $150 cheaper. I'm not paying that much more for something an inch smaller. Sorry.

Well your statement that the Zen NX would be better than an ipod seemed like you were declaring a fact. Note that in no way I'm dissing the Zen NX. It looks quite nice. However, I don't particularly like being called 12 by some rude asshole.

It's okay. It looks like a nice piece of hardware. That removable battery... Wow. I got my 20 gig ipod for $300 so it was a reasonable deal. But the removable battery.... that sounds good.
