When is next operating system release scheduled to be released?

Just curious as to when the next release of Mac OS X (i.e. update to Leopard) is scheduled to be released?

Any rumors about how significant a change or new features new operating system will be?
 
I think it might be a bit too early for any reliable information. Though if you google OSX 10.6, one user has an interesting interpretation of what he thinks 10.6 will have 🙂 :beer:
 
It's way too early for us to start speculating but I'm putting it at early summer 2009. Apple releases a new OS every 18 months or so.
