When is Mother's Day anyway? Did I miss it?

Wednesday my mother called for her weekly call to her college son (few days late normally its Sunday, maybe waiting to see if I would call instead, who knows) and asked toward the end: "Do you have something to tell me?" and I'm thinking over grades, money, schedules, housing, and all sorts of other issues that maybe there could have been the remote chance of bad news associated with and coming up with none I said "No".

Well that's been bugging me all week and I just realized last weekend could have been mother's day? If its the upcoming weekend I still have time... lol.

Blame it on a the computer engineering classes, I have to remind myself what day it is let alone to eat, geesh now I'm expected to know its mother's day, lol. j/k...

isn't it early this year? i thought it was closer to the end of may, how do they pick it?

Yeah, I feel your pain. I called my mom last sunday and wished her a happy mother's day. She laughed at me.

I'm starting to hate some holidays now. I mean, why can't you just do nice things for your mom any day of the year? With mother's day you have to feel all guilty if you forget about it or something. Hallmark loves it though, I'm sure. :p

edit: Wait a minute, that's not a disgust face... oh well.

Lol.. my mom called me and I wasn't awake yet. I had no clue it was Mother's Day.. She just kept dragging on the conversation over and over.

Maybe she should have acknowledged my 21st birthday.
