I am going to be interview on campus, and I can either be interviewed early in the group, late in the group, or somewhere in the middle. I was wondering what the best place in the order to be interviewed is?

I'd say early. That way they're comparing everyone after to you. If you're later, you'll get compared to the early ones...

It seems what you said means it doesn't matter.

I'm leaning late. They will be bored and tired, but you'll also remain fresh in their mind.

It depends on a lot of factors, but I'd prefer late. They remember you better that way, and you find out sooner after the interview.

No, it does... Think about it. When you're shopping for something, say a car, The first one you look at becomes the benchmark. Unless something following is orders of magnitude better, that first one is stuck in your head as the best. It's much more work to overcome that initial prejudice than it is to BECOME that initial prejudice.

i went early for the interview for my campus job (computer lab "consultant"), and got the job rather easily...
...of course, its sad to know i was probably the most computer literate person there.

It's usually better to interview at the appointed time. Employers don't like it when you show up when they aren't expecting you. Hope this advice helps.

i'd want to go last, if you make a good impression at the end thats what they will remenber the most.

LOL... I meant before or after your competition. I chose late because I have classes earlier in the day.
