Short and sweet, AAR, here's the deal...I have one of these and the batteries died.

I bought a larger unit and have no need for the old one BUT it will take $70.00 dollars worth of batteries to get it working. I got the 70.00 price from here. The battery is model SLA1056 and it needs five.

This is a double conversion UPS that puts out a true Sinewave and that's why they are pricey for a small unit. Your components run from the batteries and are completely isolated from the wall socket.

If nobody wants it, the batteries will be recycled and the empty unit will go in the trash.

So, "Free" isn't "Free" if ya hafta fix it....I guess. 🙂

I'll give this unit to anyone but I'm not gonna deal with shipping. I live in the Akron/Canton/Massillon area of Ohio and we would have to meet near Canton for you to get the unit.

My trashman comes on Wed. and it will be outta here unless someone wants it.
